The career of Ulf Langheinrich is best known for his internationally acclaimed work in the two-man group, Granular Synthesis, in collaboration with Kurt Hentschlaeger. The project, which began in 1991 with these two self-proclaimed "media terrorists", does more in the way of a performance than it does to define the men involved.

FAD is a project on the inventive exploration of new technologies in the field of art and communications. One of festival’s axes is the exhibition of audiovisual installations, performances and further presentations which emphasize electronic art produced by machines and software, by means of digital medias. Since 2005, TodaysArt has brought international artists, thinkers and audiences to The Hague. In 2011, the festival’s outreach will be extended through the initiation of TodaysArt Brussels.

Over the past nine years, Decibel has booked over 700 artists ranging from experimental, to leading-edge electronic dance music and visual art. With a focus on live performance, interactive multimedia art, state-of-the-art sound and technology-based education, Decibel has solidified itself as one of the premier electronic music festivals and promotional organizations in the world.

Unsound Krakow was established in 2003 in Krakow, Poland, as a festival of advanced music. Starting out as an underground event, in recent years the festival has grown in size and name. Fundacja Tone currently produces the annual festival in Krakow in October each year, and in spring 2012 will produce the third Unsound Festival New York with local producers, curators, venues and cultural institutes in that city.

Robin Fox is an artist straddling the often artificial divide between audible and visible arts. As an audio-visual performance artist his work has featured in festivals worldwide. His groundbreaking work with Chunky Move has contributed to the recent piece Mortal Engine winning a Helpmann award for Best Visual Production and an Honorary mention at the illustrious Prix Ars Electronica. He also scored the critically acclaimed work Connected with Oren Ambarchi and has produced two works, RGBand Drift, with groundbreaking new choreographer Antony Hamilton.

Kangding ray's music reflects his wide musical background, and a particular way of merging beats and textured soundscapes into slowly evolving compositions.
KR combines machines with « real instruments » in a subtle and rythmic suite, integrating noises, walls of distortion, massive bass lines, voices and field recordings.
The result is a blend of deep advanced grooves and dark atmospheres, that one could describe as « abstract bass music »

Cimatics aims at supporting innovative experiments and outstanding productions in the fields of audiovisual and digital culture. Cimatics Platform is a framework for initiating and facilitating audiovisual productions, events, publications and workshops. Cimatics Festival focuses on presenting to a large and diverse public what is taking place at the cross-roads of art, media, music, design or technology.
