The Technology Park of Asturias (PT Asturias), inaugurated in June 1991, was an initiative of the Government of the Principality of Asturias to boost innovative business in the region. The Park is set in an impressive 48ha (approx.) of urban and natural surroundings and offers high quality, specific services to set up innovative, technology-based companies and projects.

![]() The Parque Científico de Madrid's aim is to promote research, development and innovation, paying special attention to interdisciplinary aspects, transferring knowledge to society, businesses and entrepreneurs; and implementing R&D&i results in products, processes and services that favour social well-being and progress. Although the PCM is a generalist Park, its main sectors of scientific and business development activities are life sciences and chemistry, information technology, new materials and nanotechnology, and environmental sciences and renewable energy. |
