Madrid will hold the Forum for the presentation of infrastructure projects worldwide in 2014.The Spanish capital will host the promoters of the world's 100 largest engineering projects in transport and energy, and other sectors, alongside hundreds of engineering firms, construction companies, investors and representatives of various governments: the 7th Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum.

Under the name of Madrid Network, the ‘Instituto Madrileño de Desarrollo' (IMADE) has grouped together a network of six science and technology parks, with a network of twelve clusters in strategic economic sectors (logistics, aerospace, health, communitacion, automation, renewable energies, security, ICT, tourism, finance, biotechnology, audiovisual).

ARlab is the first Spanish company owner of Augmented Reality technology with projection and product portfolio based on Augmented Reality, geolocalization, image and movement recognition, which makes it the first Think Tank of this technology in Spain. The Parque Científico de Madrid's aim is to promote research, development and innovation, paying special attention to interdisciplinary aspects, transferring knowledge to society, businesses and entrepreneurs; and implementing R&D&i results in products, processes and services that favour social well-being and progress. Although the PCM is a generalist Park, its main sectors of scientific and business development activities are life sciences and chemistry, information technology, new materials and nanotechnology, and environmental sciences and renewable energy.

Medialab-Prado is a program of the Department of Arts of the City Council of Madrid, aimed at the production, research, and dissemination of digital culture and of the area where art, science, technology, and society intersect. Many workshops for the production of projects, conferences, seminars, encounters, project exhibition, concerts, presentations, etc. take place in its versatile space. All activities are free and open to the general public.
