The Rio Summit on Service Innovation

Living Labs Global, together with the Cities of Rio de Janeiro and Barcelona and the partners Oracle and The Climate Group organize the Rio Summit on Service Innovation in Cities & Award Ceremony on May 2-3, 2012. The Summit will be a 2-day event organized to build new partnerships between companies, public leaders and experts to open the markets for innovative services in cities.
On May 2, Mayors and key city leaders of the 21 cities participating in the Living Labs Global Award 2012 will take the podium to offer four City Dialogues and present the winners of this year’s award, which have been selected out of 555 entries from 50 countries.
On May 3, 250 delegates will join a full-day of matchmaking activities to turn local challenges into global opportunities through Thematic Sessions, Elevator Pitches, Networking Breaks, Visioning Workshops and an Exhibition.
The themes around the summit and its matchmaking activities will be Climate Change, Tourism & Mobility, Urban Systems & Services, Health & Wellbeing and Open Government & Accessibility.
